Bromide Drag Interviews David Bram

In the inaugural Bromide Drag podcast I interview David Bram, co-founder and editor-in-chief of Fraction Magazine. We talk about the Fraction aesthetic, portfolio reviews, David Maisel’s Black Maps exhibition, and the role of social media in a contemporary photographer’s career.

During our interview, we discuss a number of images, a few of which I’ve included below:

"Rita-Belle de Jour II" by Marisa Portolese from the Fraction Magazine Best of 2014.

Nice interview. Good points about over-sharing on FB and issues of ownership and usage. One small criticism…do you have to be at death’s doorstep to be considered a master? I’d say Maisel is a current master that’s not quite almost-dead.
