One of my photograms is going to be on display at the New Mexico Museum of Art in Santa Fe from August 28th to December 7th. Here’s what they have to say about the show on the New Mexico Museum of Art’s web site:
On display Aug 28 – Dec 7, 2014
Not all photographs are made with a camera! Enter the world of the photogram, where images are made without film or camera and often without recognizable subject matter. Featured are works by Caleb Charland, Leigh Anne Langwell, David Ondrik, Carol Panaro-Smith and James Hajicek, among others.
Join us for a gallery talk with artist Leigh Anne Langwell on Friday, September 12, at 5:30 p.m.!
About 10 copies of the 2nd edition of “Arid Harvests” were hiding in a box I opened recently. So I’ve put them up for sale on my Big Cartel site.
Unlike the other 2nd edition copies, these will be signed.
My review of Boris Mikhailov’s “Bücher Books” is now up on the photo eye web site.
The 2013 Fraction Magazine Holiday Print Sale is in full swing. There are lots of really great photographs for sale, and 70% of the price goes straight to the artist. My pinhole photograph, “Goonies Never Say Die,” of the Columbia River in Astoria, Oregon is available there too.
My review of Sonja Braas’ monograph “So Far” is up on the photo eye web site.
